RedactReceipt inspects only the PDF files you choose. The current build does not upload documents, require an account, overwrite a source PDF or include advertising trackers.

Generated evidence and copies

Receipts and optional limited sanitized copies are written only to the folder you select. A supported copy clears standard review metadata and FileAttachment annotations, then is re-inspected. XMP, catalog attachments and unsupported structures remain explicit blockers; the app does not claim legal sufficiency.

Website and checkout

This website may produce ordinary server access logs. Purchases are processed by Polar as merchant of record under its own privacy terms. Shipmac receives the purchase details needed to deliver and support the app; payment-card details are not handled by the app.

Diagnostics

No analytics or automatic crash-reporting service is enabled in the current build. A sample you voluntarily send to Shipmac will only be used to investigate the issue you reported.
